Conjuguer le futur antérieur en anglais : mode d’emploi 📖
Aussi appelé. « futur perfect » en anglais, ce dernier a le même emploi qu’en Français.
Il exprime une action dans le futur avant qu’il n’arrive.
👉 Si tu veux c’est en quelques sortes le temps qui te permet d’introduire une temporalité plus proche du présent.
Exemple : I will have done my exam in 2 hours
Comme les autres temps, le futur antérieur n’est pas laissé pour compte, il possède aussi sa forme en -ING qui, on te le rappelle (ça fait toujours du bien) s’emploie lorsque l’action se déroule dans le passé puis continue dans l’avenir.
Exemple : Next monday, it will have been together for 10 years

Le futur antérieur comme en français n’est pas très courant mais c’est un temps à connaître qui possède ses spécificités propres.
- 1 ère forme Will + have + Participe Passé
- Forme -IngWill + have + been + V-Ing
Quelques règles à respecter néanmoins 📏
Le futur perfect ne s’emploie pas avec when, while, before, after, by the time, as soon as, if, unless, etc.
Mais avec : next month / until / till / by / by the time / before / by tomorrow / at 7 o’clock

2. Suzie (read) her mails because she is on holiday.
3. By tomorrow the car seller (deliver) my car in front of my house.
4. I will not sell my flat until my husband (give) the guarantee he signed another job contract.
5. At 6pm I (to pick-up) your sister at the horseclub. You should wait in the car by the time I (walk) to the office.
6. Until next month no parties (to prohibit) since we are in global pandemic.
7. This enterprise is so interesting. My employer (to accept) until my next job interview.
8. When you get home, for how long (to travel) you (to travel) ?
9. If I can pass my exam (waste) my time.
